1. Who the platform is for
qavun.co.uk is a quotation platform for architects, interior designers, lighting designers, contractors and resellers. The catalogue is open to everyone; prices, quotations and orders are available to approved professional accounts. We do not sell to private consumers through this site.
2. How to register
Open the registration page and enter your company name, contact person, phone, city, business area and a password of at least eight characters. You can also sign in with a Google account. Registration is free and carries no obligation.
Every new account starts as pending. You can sign in straight away and use the quote list, but prices stay hidden until the account is approved.
3. Approval and order types
We check each application within 1–2 business days and confirm the approval by e-mail. Orders fall into two groups:
In stock: products marked "In stock — Ankara" are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment.
Made to order: produced for you after order confirmation. Lead time and minimum order value vary with the quantity ordered and the product.
4. How to see prices
Sign in and open any product page. The summary panel on the right shows the list price with your net price beneath it, in USD and excluding VAT. Collection pages never show prices — they are built for specification, not e-commerce.
All prices are in US dollars, excluding 20% VAT, packaging and transport. Prices follow our current price list and may change without notice; a quotation freezes them for its validity period.
5. Requesting a quotation
Use the quote list (the heart icon in the navigation) to collect products and set quantities from any product page. On the quote-list page, approved accounts see line prices, the subtotal, VAT and the grand total, and can request a formal quotation with one click.
Each quotation receives a number (QVN-year-sequence), is sent to you as a PDF on our letterhead and stays valid for 30 days. Prices are recalculated on our side at the moment of the request, so what you see on screen is what the PDF carries. You can download earlier quotations again from your account page.
For a complete project — a fixture schedule, a plan or a bill of quantities — use the project form instead; we price it as a whole and support the lighting calculation.
6. Lead times
In stock: products marked "In stock — Ankara" are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment.
Made to order: lead time and minimum order value vary with the quantity ordered and the product; the delivery period is stated on the order confirmation.
Partial deliveries are possible by agreement.
7. Delivery
Goods are delivered to the address given on the order — anywhere in Türkiye or abroad — or collected from our Ankara warehouse. We ship internationally by air, road or sea; for export orders the quotation states the delivery term (e.g. EXW, FOB or CIF), and customs duties and import taxes in the destination country are borne by the buyer. Transport and insurance are invoiced separately unless the quotation says otherwise. Please check the packaging on receipt and note any visible transport damage on the carrier's delivery note; report it to us the same day with photographs.
8. Warranty
Every QAVUN product is backed by Erel Concept. QAVUN products carry a three-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery; a product covered by the warranty is repaired or replaced with a new one.
The warranty is handled by our own team; no customer is ever left without a solution during a warranty case.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, use outside the electrical or thermal limits stated on the datasheet, lack of maintenance or normal wear.
9. Returns and exchanges
Products are prepared to order, so a confirmed order cannot be returned for a change of mind. Where the fault lies with us — a defective product, a wrong item or a wrong quantity — you may return or exchange within 30 days of delivery: tell us with the order number and photographs, we collect the product and send a replacement or refund that line, and no cost is passed on to you. Products that have been installed, modified or damaged after delivery cannot be exchanged.
10. Technical support
Every product page carries a datasheet (PDF), dimensions, finishes, order codes and — where available — IES/LDT photometry and CAD files; the rest is supplied on request. Our lighting-design service sets up the DIALux/Relux calculation with you, and finish samples can be requested for a project. Depending on the project or request, we can also provide the service together with our partner lighting designers.
11. Custom production for your specification
Not every project is built from a catalogue. If you have specified luminaires that are not in the QAVUN range — a competitor's model, a bespoke profile or a fixture drawn for the project — we can produce them for you through our production partners. The sequence is the same every time: we review your specification and drawings, produce a witness sample, you test and approve it, and only then do we manufacture the quantity and deliver it under the QAVUN warranty.
