Gold Seashell Wall Light

A Ø 260 mm dish in textured gold, tipped away from the wall so its lower lip curls forward and catches an opal glass sphere. The disc does the work: light leaves the sphere, washes the inside of the dish and comes back off the wall as a soft, wide field rather than a point. Nothing glares, because the only luminous surface you can see is the ball itself, and it sits low enough to read as a detail rather than a lamp. 8 W from a Bridgelux V6HD board at CRI 90 and 3000 K, on a 250 mA constant-current driver with flicker measured at 0.5 %. Switched on and off, IP20, 100 mm deep — a corridor, a bed head, a stair landing.
