White Porter Table Lamp

A lantern reduced to its frame: four slim white uprights, a handle to carry it by, and a lit panel held in the middle so the glow reads through the open sides rather than off a shade. It runs from two 2200 mAh lithium cells — 12 hours on a 6–8 hour charge — so there is no cable to route across a terrace table: set it down where the evening is happening and pick it up when it moves. A touch on the base switches and dims it. 2.2 W gives 180 lm at a warm 3000 K, CRI above 80, in a 42° spread that lights the table top and the faces around it without spilling into the garden. Die-cast aluminium, powder coated over an outdoor pretreatment, with clear polycarbonate panels and a silicone gasket: IP54, so a shower does not send it indoors. Matte Sandy White.
